Lacombe Thunder 2000 performed very well at their first Premier.  The team won a crossover match against a tough first place team from another pool. As a result, the team achieved their goal by finishing among the top 8 teams in the tournament and thus ending up in Division 1.  The girls should be very proud of their play!  Well done Thunder!  Below are a few pictures.  One is from a bowling team bonder, and the second is from a traditional milkshake celebration.

Congratulations to the team for an outstanding weekend at the Penhold Multiplex.  The girls played very well in the 7 round robin games and placed 2nd.  They went on to play the host Queens in the final where they lost in a close match.

Any volleyball players born in 2000 who wish to play club volleyball in Lacombe on the U15 team please note the following tryout dates:

Tuesday, December 9 (4:30 – 6:00, ELUE School)

Wednesday, December 10 (4:30 – 6:00, ELUE School)

Thursday, December 11 (4:30 – 6:00, ELUE School)

Our U14 club volleyball team will be hosting a tournament Saturday, March 8.  See below for full details.

One day tournament.  Guaranteed 5 matches, with prizes given out to the winning teams.  Location: Ecole Lacombe Junior High School (5830-50 Street) Lacombe Entry fee: $225  There will be a full concession on-site.  Teams supply scorekeeper and lines.  Entry Deadline: January 26, 2014.

Welcome back to another Lithium Volleyball Club Season.  The U14 team will start practicing at ELUE Tuesday, January 7 @ 4:30.  Practices will run every Tuesday &  Thursday from 4:30 – 6:00.  A more detailed schedule will be out soon.
